Category: OtherTitleElvis's Birthday DescriptionFor January, we celebrated Elvis's Birthday. Elvis was in the building as well as our favorite local DJ, Mr. DJ Steve. Elvis performed for an excited crowd. Steve spun the tunes as the dancers danced to 50's music and Elvis favorites. Participants brought and shared Elvis memorabilia. All enjoyed the celebration with food and cake. A $2.00 donation offset costs and Half the Take made a few bucks for the center. The local paper showed up for a "good news" story. Next year the center may try an Elvis look alike contest for this event.
